From Dr. Hossein Mousavinezhad’s presentation on “Electrical Engineering,” it is clearly justified that electrical engineering is an engineering subfield that deals with the study of electronics, electromagnetism, and electricity (Rizzoni, 2015). Thus, the course prepares the enriches the learners with the knowledge that they can apply in testing, designing, developing and supervising electrical equipment such as communication and radar systems. Contrary to that, it is also worth noting the electrical and electronic engineers can operate from all environments including the industrial and office environments. In addition to that, just like any other engineering profession, electrical engineering requires that electrical engineers should uphold a high degree of professionalism and integrity in their undertakings. Thus, whereas, the electrical and electronic engineers will be needed to apply the knowledge that they have acquired in science, mathematics, technology and other related fields to do their tasks, following the right professional procedures that define their obligations is also a matter of significant concern (Rizzoni, 2015).
According to Dr. Hossein Mousavinezhad, training the learners about the significance of upholding healthy communication and collaboration skills is also an essential bearing in mind that a majority of electrical engineering tasks are undertaken from team environments (Rizzoni, 2015). Contrary to that, the apprehension of excellent analytic and research skills is also a significant concern that electrical engineers are required to put into consideration while undertaking their tasks. With the apparent increase in societal needs, electrical engineers are also needed to work with other professionals to come up with innovations that can be used to boost the efficiency of life. Despite the transitions and improvements that have been realized in the field of electrical engineering, the positions that electrical engineers hold are still crucial. For example, electrical engineers bear the obligations of making interpretations to electrical deigns and plans alongside working with other professionals to ensure that the tasks and projects at hand have been accorded the technicality that they deserve (Rizzoni, 2015).
