My Leadership Philosophy

469 words | 2 page(s)

It is with great commitment to this organization that I explicitly explain my leadership philosophy and the values that I intend to exhibit within my role as a leader. I will also outline the expectations of others within this organization and how those expectations will be evaluated.

First and foremost, my commitment extends not only to the organization as a whole, but to each individual member thereof. It is my intention to be held accountable for my actions and any shortcomings of the team, therefore, it is my personal mission to make certain that each and everyone of you develop yourselves fully within this organization and I will maintain an open door policy that will allow each of you to feel free to ask for and expect my assistance. Together we will develop a solution for whatever problems arise.

In as much as I am committed to the organization, I expect the same from each member of the organization. As I am willing to give 110 % in order to reach our goals, it is my expectation that every member is willing to do the same.

As I am willing to help each member of the team, I also expect that you help each other in order to maintain a consistency of growth within our organization.By avoiding the “I” concept and focusing on the “team” then we will be able to meet the demands of our organization and excel beyond the goals that have been set.

I find that communication is the key to all of our success therefore I will meet with each of you individually at least once each month in order to evaluate your standings within the organization and to allow you the opportunity to express any concerns that you may have. There will be a group meeting at the beginning of each month to address any issues and explain where we are as a team. I expect attendance at each of these meetings and that any personnel concerns be addressed in our private meetings to avoid any disruptions.

Once commitments to tasks have been made, I expect that every member live up to their commitments and hold themselves and each other accountable for the success of our organization. It is imperative that each of you, as well as myself, is held accountable for our actions and our commitments.

There will be zero toleration for theft, lying, disrespect of one another, or vulgarity within this organization. This is key to creating a work environment that will foster success and teamwork.

In closing, please take note of the numerous times that I expressed “our organization” because we are a team. I will relentlessly work toward excellence and anticipate that each of you will do the same. Together we can take this organization to the next level of excellence.
