I believe one should pursue a business he/she is passionate about because only then he/she will full commit himself/herself to the success of the business and not easily discouraged by upsets and failures. This is why I am interested in developing a cosmetic makeup line which will be organic and, thus, free of harsh chemicals. Even though social media and internet marketing has become a cliché, I truly believe it can be quite effective with careful planning. First of all, I will send free samples to social media followers as well as renowned bloggers and video loggers. I will be confident in the quality of my products, thus, will invest a huge stake in word-of-mouth marketing.

The greatest benefit of word-of-mouth marketing is that individuals usually trust their friends and family members and, thus, are more likely to try a new product. By sending samples to renowned bloggers and video loggers, I will be able to increase my brand familiarity among those who are frequent cosmetic makeup products’ customers and often put greater emphasis on quality than quantity. Once I have built a loyal customer base through digital marketing, I will use the leverage to build distribution partnerships with cosmetic retail giants such as Sephora and Macy’s.
