Education programs in the healthcare sector have been facing difficulties for the past years. As a result, the US government has come up with strategies for web-based continuing education. The practices will aid the Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in making an improved US healthcare system. First, teamwork with the professionals is an important strategy. Medical practitioners are supposed coordinate well with all stakeholders involved in order to bring an impact (Fitzgerald, Gordon, Katz & Hirsch, 2012). The nurses must collaborate, coordinate and communicate with the teams in a caring manner.

According to Fitzgerald et al., (2012), working in partnerships will enable educational organizations to work in unison as well as, hospitals and healthcare organizations. For this reason, the institutions can prepare the health professionals thus expand the nursing education programs. In addition to that, there is need to establish competency among the professionals. The strategy can improve the students’ thinking abilities. Additionally, the program will enhance effective student evaluation and provide medical experiences. Through competence-based learning, the learners can explore new ideas and, as a result, lead to better clinical judgment.

Consequently, E-learning can be a good curriculum in the betterment of advanced practice health care. Distance learners from the medical field will have a chance to pursue graduate studies online in their place of work without necessarily availing themselves in the institutions (Fitzgerald et al., 2012). Fitzgerald et al., (2012) argued that, enhancement of distance teaching and online course management software delivers quality course content. Besides that, web-based technologies enable students to pursue courses online.

Lastly, improvement of the research network is a practice that can improve the health care sector. The intention of the system is to monitor the effective strategies as well as give assurance to patient care (Stevens, 2013). A study by Stevens, (2013) shows that, the network enables nurses to study system improvements in a way the information is learned from the innovations. As a result, the lessons gained can be passed to other institutions for implementation.
