This is the core reason that has made the organization at the top of Training Magazine. According to Powell at el., (2012), “Integrity is defined by Webster’s as “a firm adherence to a code or standard of values.” We wouldn’t be the region’s leading health insurer, nor would we be in business for more than 70 years, without integrity being woven into our culture”. This statement from the chairman of the board of the organization reveals a lot. Firstly, integrity has made the organization the leading health insurer in the region. Secondly, it has played a crucial role in the training operations in the organization. That is why it has been operational for more that seventy years successfully.

The training function support organizational strategy at Capital BlueCross is integrity in several ways. Firstly, the organization aims at ensuring that the all the customers are served to their satisfactory level. Thus, integrity is phenomenal in such organization strategy. On the other hand, the organization integrity is demanded by all the business partners. This is a clear indication that integrity has been instrumental in the success of the organization. Such a firm cannot be successful and operational for long without customer satisfaction and supplier cooperation. All these are achieved through integrity.

This means that all the operations are carried out in an ethical and recommended manner. On the other hand, training has been instrumental in the success level of the organization. This is core reason why the organization is listed among the top three training organizations. The organization provides the best training to the customers. This ensures that the customers and other business partners are satisfied with the services offered. This goes a long way in increasing the number of the customers. As a result, this leads to increased sales or service delivery. Hence, it enhances the competitive advantage and ensures that the organization outshines other several competitors (Powell at el., 2012).

Furthermore, it goes without saying that ethics and integrity play a critical role in training at this organization. Firstly, ethics and integrity ensures that the customers are fairly, with respect and honesty. This is not only limited to only customers but also other business partners. Again, ethics ensures that the organization adhere to the set rules and regulations. This is instrumental in prevention of issues such as corruption and related vices. Such codes also govern each and every employee in the organization. This is because each employee is a representative of the company. Hence, acting with fairness, respect and honestly is imperative to the overall performance of the organization.

There are several strategies that are used in this organization differently. All these strategies have been influential in ensuring that the company achieves the best in training in the United States of America. Firstly, the organization ensures that all laws and regulations applicable to company business are observed. This is paramount especially in the operations of the business. Most organizations in this line fail because of this reason. They on most cases fail to observe all the rules and regulations that are set for business. Secondly, the organization values all of its stakeholders. These are the customers, employees, vendors, government regulators and local communities. All of these stakeholders is treated with respect, fairness and honestly. On the contrary, most of the organizations fail to treat their stakeholders such as employees and customers with integrity. Finally, the organization has cutting edge codes that are followed. These codes apply to everyone that conducts business for or with the organization. This include the board of directors, employees, medical and dental review and advisory committees, consultants and third party contractors. Therefore, these are some of the things done differently in the organization and ensure success.

Lastly, there are lot enhancements that can be implementing for the success of the organization. Currently, the Training magazine rated the organization on the third position. This means that it has been outshines in some aspects by Jiffy Lube International and Keller Williams Realty, Inc. Therefore, one of the most notable things to be done is benchmark. The organization should conduct a benchmarking at the top two organizations. They need to see how they conduct their training function. In so doing, they will realize their strengths and the weaknesses. For the strengths, the organization perfects them. However, for the weakness they ensure that they find amicable solutions.

Last but not the least Capital BlueCross needs to involve competitive and qualified professionals in their training function. Competent personnel play a crucial role in the success of the organization. On most cases, these are the drivers of the organization. Hence, the organization needs to hire the services of more competent employees. This will go a long way in improving the training function. In conclusion, there is also need to create awareness. The organization should use effective marketing strategies. This will go a long way in ensuring that a larger target market is achieved.
