My record of academic excellence has enabled me to come top of the class, demonstrating my creative mindset and passion for the field of marketing communication. However my appetite for learning is not yet satiated; I possess a hunger for knowledge and wish to further my education in order to return to my native Sudan and use the skills that I have learnt to benefit the wider community. Sudan is a relatively poor country but has a strong entrepreneurial spirit. I would relish the opportunity to bring back marketing communication methods that could help the local population to capitalise upon their keen business acumens and boost their marketing activities. I aim to actively share the expertise that I gain with businessmen and women so that I can aid them with fulfilling their potential.
In order to achieve my goal, I require a scholarship due to the fact that I am from a lower middle class background and hail from a developing country. I do not believe that a person’s level of wealth should be a barrier to success. The opportunity to further develop my understanding of marketing communication will give me the necessary skills that are required to excel within the world of marketing. This is an area that I am hoping to go into and knowing how to communicate in the best way possible would provide me with a competitive edge.

I am particularly passionate about the creative aspect of marketing but firmly believe in striking a balance between creativity and implementing solid marketing strategies that have a scientific foundation. I believe that my bachelor’s degree in creative multimedia has given me the ability to think outside of the box whilst at the same time remaining rooted in practicality and focussing upon suggesting pragmatic solutions to problems. My rounded approach to the subject ensures that I remain both innovative and logical when putting marketing techniques into practice.
My enthusiasm, positive attitude, high level of educational achievement and ability to learn concepts quickly and thoroughly make me the ideal candidate for a scholarship. Not only would I benefit personally from studying this course but I would also be able to improve the lives of individuals in a country in which opportunities are lacking. I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to learn new skills and concepts so that I can return home and use them to unlock the hidden entrepreneur that exists within many of my peers.
